Synopsis

The team chases a KGB agent who stole computer boards for a government spy satellite.

Episode recap

A KGB agent walks off with computer boards from a government spy satellite, and the team hunts a man whose stolen cargo can see everything. "Windows" is Season 4's surveillance thriller, named for the openings — orbital and human — through which secrets escape. The chase is ground-level espionage with an airborne trump card, and the episode enjoys the irony baked into the series since "To Snare a Wolf": the crew that lives by keeping one machine invisible must protect the machines that make invisibility impossible. Locke's company connections drive the tradecraft; Airwolf closes the distance.
