Moffett's Ghost

First aired Saturday, October 6, 1984

Synopsis

A logic bomb left in Airwolf's computer threatens to seize control of the aircraft unless the override code is found.

Episode recap

The series' first true sequel — and many fans' pick for the definitive Airwolf hour. Dr. Moffet is dead, but the man who built the Lady left one last gift in her computers: a logic bomb that begins seizing control of the aircraft, systems failing one by one on a schedule only the dead man understands. "Moffett's Ghost" turns the series' greatest asset into its most claustrophobic threat; there is nowhere to run when the enemy is the machine you're strapped inside. The hunt for the override code becomes a race against Airwolf herself — and proof that the show's best villain never needed to survive the pilot to keep haunting it.
