Synopsis
A millionaire hires Airwolf for protection, but an assassin and a string of malfunctions complicate the job.

A millionaire with enemies hires the one bodyguard money isn't supposed to be able to buy: Airwolf. "The Hunted" puts the team in the protection business and immediately complicates it — an assassin is working the contract, and a string of suspicious malfunctions suggests the threat is closer than the perimeter. The episode plays as a mechanical whodunit: every system failure is a clue, every coincidence a suspect. It's also an early look at a question the series liked to poke — what does it mean when the world's most powerful helicopter can be rented, and who decides which clients deserve her?
