With Archangel captured in East Germany, Hawke must rely on an injured Santini and a green Caitlin for the rescue.

Archangel — the untouchable man in white who sends everyone else into danger — is captured in East Germany, and the org chart inverts: now the handler needs the assets. With Santini injured and Caitlin still green, Hawke has to run the rescue with a team held together by tape and trust. "Fallen Angel" is the episode that humanizes the F.I.R.M.'s deputy director, revealing the costs hidden under the white suits and limousines. It also quietly graduates Caitlin from tag-along to teammate; by the time the Lady crosses the border, the new trio has been forged the only way this show knows how — under fire.
