Flight #093 Is Missing

First aired Saturday, November 17, 1984

Synopsis

A hijacked airliner goes down at sea — with Caitlin aboard — as terrorists demand a ransom.

Episode recap

A hijacked airliner disappears into the sea with terrorists demanding ransom — and Caitlin on the passenger manifest. "Flight #093 Is Missing" is Season 2's disaster-movie hour, cutting between the ticking-clock search and the pressurized nightmare inside the downed plane. Making Caitlin the passenger was smart cruelty: barely two months after joining, the newest team member becomes the mission, and the audience learns how much she already matters. For Hawke and Santini, the search strips away every gadget advantage — the ocean doesn't care how fast Airwolf is if no one knows where to look.
