Synopsis
An Afghan rebel wants weapons — and Jo — luring her to Afghanistan and into a trap.
Episode recap
The season returns from its summer pause with a trap built of exactly what the enemy wants: an Afghan rebel leader demands weapons — and Jo — luring her toward Afghanistan and a snare years in the tightening. "The Golden One" folds the decade's defining proxy war into the series' final stretch, with the Soviet occupation as backdrop and Jo as both bait and target. The crew has to spring a trap without abandoning the war-torn ground truth around it: everyone in this story is fighting somebody's else's war with somebody else's weapons. Airwolf, as ever, declines to be anybody's delivery service.
