Synopsis
A madman threatens to poison the Pacific unless infected people are forcibly quarantined.
Episode recap
A madman named Malduke threatens to poison the Pacific unless the world adopts his solution to disease: forcible quarantine of the infected. The final season's eco-terror hour scales its villainy to ocean size and wraps it in the language of public health — a zealot who would kill the sea to enforce his idea of purity. The crew has to locate and stop a threat with a coastline-length target list. "Malduke" is late-Airwolf at its pulpiest, a Bond-scaled scheme handled by a helicopter crew, and its premise — cruelty marketed as hygiene — has aged into something queasily resonant.
