Mime Troupe

First aired Friday, April 3, 1987

Synopsis

The team protects the star of a French mime troupe whose father is waging war on terrorism.

Episode recap

A French mime troupe's star needs protecting — because her father is waging a private war on terrorism, and his enemies have chosen his daughter as the reply. "Mime Troupe" is Season 4 at its most theatrical, moving the team through a touring company where performance is everyone's first language and truth wears greasepaint. The premise's oddness is the point: violence stalking an art form built on silence. Between shows and safehouses, the crew has to separate stagecraft from tradecraft before the curtain call becomes literal. One of the strangest protection details the series ever flew.
