Hawke helps defecting Czech scientists escape while Santini and Caitlin launch an unauthorized rescue of their own.

A defection of Czech scientists should be Hawke's mission alone — that's the sanctioned plan. But Santini and Caitlin, tired of waiting on the sidelines of official channels, launch a rescue of their own, and "Crossover" becomes two operations tangled across one border. The episode splits the team to show what each half is made of: Hawke working the professional extraction, his partners improvising with nothing but nerve and a flight plan. It's a Cold War story about amateurs and professionals discovering the line between them is thinner than the Iron Curtain — and both sides of the team crossing lines they can't uncross.
